SIE、『MLB The Show 24』(英語版)を日本国内に向けて2024年3月19日に発売
ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント(SIE)は、PlayStation5(PS5)/PlayStation4(PS4)用ソフトウェア『MLB The Show 24』(英語版)を日本国内に向けて2024年3月19日に発売する。また、発売に向けて、PlayStation Store(PS Store)で本作のダウンロード版の予約購入受付を、全国のPlayStation取扱店および各種ECサイトでパッケージ版の予約購入受付を順次開始した。
『MLB The Show 24』(英語版)は、誰でもメジャーリーガー体験ができる「The Show」シリーズの最新作。MLBを代表する選手やチームを選び、ライバル達と白熱した試合を繰り広げ、大球場で野球をプレイする夢にかつてないほど近づくことができる。
※本作は北米版と同一の内容となり、ゲーム内の表記・音声はすべて英語となる。また、ゲーム内通貨の購入は行えない)
本作のパッケージを飾るのは、トロント・ブルージェイズ所属のブラディミール・ゲレーロJr.選手。2023年7月のホームランダービー優勝も記憶に新しい若き俊英が、「The Show」シリーズ最新作の顔に抜擢した。
