「devcom developer conference 2025」が8月18日、ドイツのケルンで開催され、devcom awardが発表となった。AMuseによる「Horizon: Forbidden West」の楽曲「In the Flood」の生演奏で幕を開けたが、devcom award 2025の受賞者は以下の通り。
・Blockbuster(presented by gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show): Team Warriors「Royal Revolt Survivors」
・Creative Overkill(presented by Epic Games Store): Nacho Rodríguez「Unboxing Mr. Coo」
・Graphics Galore(presented by astragon Entertainment): BookWood Games「About Cannons & Sparrows」
・Mobile Marvels(presented by gamescom latam): degoma「Reggie, His Cousin, Two Scientists and Most Likely the End of the World」
・Game Design Excellence Award: Sandfall Interactive「Clair Obscur: Expedition 33」
・Ambassador Award: Don Daglow
なお、インディーゲーム部門の受賞者はEpic Games Store、IGDA、Spielfabrique、astragon Entertainmentが今年のdevcom indie expoの全参加者の中から選出し、「Game Design Excellence」と「Ambassador」部門はdevcomの全講演者が投票して決定した。
