【米AppStoreゲーム売上ランキング（10/27）】EA「The Simpsons」が首位
米国App Storeのゲーム売上ランキングはここ最近、「The Simpsons: Tapped Out」、「Clash of Clans」、「Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North」、「Rage of Bahamut」の4タイトルによる首位争いが続いているが、今週も同じ展開となった。
10月27日16時30分現在、首位は、Electronic Artsの『The Simpsons: Tapped Out』だった。同名人気アニメ番組を題材にしたゲームアプリで、ホーマーが誤ってメルドダウンさせた原作の舞台「スプリングフィールド」を再生していくゲームで、プレイヤーは、バートやマージといったキャラクターを救出して一緒に発展させていくことになる。
2位は、Supercell「Clash of Clans」だった。自分の村を建設したり、兵隊ユニットを招集・育成したりして、他のプレイヤーとのバトルや、自分の村の防衛を行なっていくMMOストラテジーゲーム。気の合うプレイヤーとクランを結成することもできる。
3位は、Kabamの「Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North」だった。アーサー王伝説を題材にしたMMOストラテジーゲームで、プレイヤーは、イギリス北部で王国内の都市建設や農地の強化、さまざまな技術研究などを行いつつ、軍隊を増強して領土拡大を目指していく。
また前週1位だったCygames/ディー・エヌ・エーの「Rage of Bahamut」だった。御存知のとおり「神撃のバハムート」の英語版で、10月24日にアプリのアップデートを多なったとのこと。10月14日～10月29日までの期間、イベント「The Castle in the Sky」を開催している。アプリボットの「Legend of the Cryptids」は7位に入った。
このほか圏外からのランクインしたタイトルとして、「Big Fish Casino」が一気に5位に入ってきたほか、グリー（Funzio）「Crime City」が16位、「GSN Casino」が18位、「Plague Inc. 」が19位にランクインしている。
