ユービーアイソフトは、「プリンス オブ ペルシャ」シリーズの作品について、『プリンス オブ ペルシャ 時間の砂』リメイク版を2026年に発売すると発表した。
『プリンス オブ ペルシャ 時間の砂』のリメイク版は、おなじみのプリンスと再会し、『プリンスオブ ペルシャ 時間の砂』の魅力を引き継ぎながらも、一から創り上げられた冒険を楽しめる。
Ubisoft TorontoとUbisoft Bucharest、Ubisoft Pune、Ubisoft Montréalによって開発が進められており、プレ制作段階を完了し、現在本格的な開発に入っているという。
