【米AppStoreランキング】ゲーム無料（7/8）…「Angry Birds Seasons」が首位
7月8日16時現在の米国App Storeのゲームカテゴリー無料ダウンロードランキングでは、Rovio Entertainmentの「Angry Birds Seasons」が首位を獲得した。期間限定で無料で提供されている。世界中で人気を集めたアクションパズルゲームで、ハロウィーンから旧正月まで様々な行事が盛り込まれている。
本作だけでなく、「Angry Birds Space Free」（12位）や「Where's My Water? Free」（9位）など、有料で販売されて人気を博したゲームアプリの無料版も上位に入っている。有料アプリとしてピークを過ぎた後、無料アプリにすることで需要を喚起する手法が行われているが、これらのその動きとみられる。
また、売上ランキングでも首位を獲得したNaturalMotionの「CSR Racing」が3位となった。ドラッグレースを題材にしたゲームアプリで、日産やBMW、フォード、シボレーなどの実在の自動車が登場する。
